Anna Wardley has decided to swim 215km non-stop, without neoprene or assistance. Her latest challenge The Balearic Swim Challenge will raise money for three charities: Marine Inspiration, Joves Navegants and Rescue Marine Animals, I feel a connection to all three of them because of my sailing background and general love for the ocean and I am thrilled to be a part of such an interesting and inspiring project!
On the 5th of November 2015, Anna held a press conference in Palma Aquarium where she officially acknowledged her challenge and charities. Obviously I was there with my camera to record it all!
My involvement with Anna's project ranges range from being her photographer, rib/kayak driver and "late night drinking friend" -all good fun! If you would like to get involved and help out please contact Anna through her homepage or facebook page!
Here are some photos for you to enjoy from the training swims, the waters around Mallorca and the press conference held in Palma Aquarium!
